09/01/1941 R3215 Wellington B.1C Operated by 103 Sqdn/R.A.F newton. Following a raid over Rhur Valley, the crew became lost on return trip and had to make a forced landing near Llanover Abergavenny. The aircraft was eventually recovered by No.78 MU Bynea and put back into service.
15/02/1941 AW115 Rapide Operated by No.8 AACU/R.A.F Rhoose..
Aircraft failed to gain flying speed on the wet airfield at Rhoose, stalled and crashed.
15/02/1941 P3035 Hurricane I Operated by No.79 Sqdn/R.A.F Pembrey..
The aircraft hit a Chance light on overshoot at night and crashed at RAF Pembrey.
23/04/1941 P4781 DH.82B Queen Bee Operated by R.A.F Manorbier..
Following loss of radio control, the aircraft crashed 50 miles from its home base at Parkmill, Gower.
27/04/1941 P3264Hurricane I Operated by No.79 Sqdn/Pembrey. Aircraft crashed into sea off Burry Holms.
21/05/1941 N6853 Tiger Moth Aircraft departed Pembrey but didnt arrive and crashed in River Severn near Beachley.
21/05/1941 V9361 Lysander IIIa Aircraft departed Pembrey to search for Tiger Moth [N6853] but due to the bad weather aircraft flew into hillside and burnt out whilst attempting to land at Pembrey.
22/05/1941 AH810 P.40 Tomahawk I Operated by No.400 [Canadian] Sqdn/Odiham. Whilst en-route to Pembrey with three aircraft attempting to find the airfield in fog. Two returned to Odiham but this aircraft force landed in field near Llangennith.
11/06/1941 L6845 Whirlwind 1 Operated by 25 Sqdn/R.A.F Filton.
Aircraft crashed near Llandenny,Usk.
13/06/1941 V6958 Hurricane 1 Operated by 316 Sqdn/R.A.F Pembrey.
Aircraft struck second aircraft and entered flat-spin causing pilot to bale out. Aircraft crashed on Muddlescwm Farm, Kidwelly.
01/08/1941 L6242 Blenheim I Operated by No.1 Air Gunnery School/Pembrey. Aircraft crashed into sea 1 mile north off Burry Holms.
08/08/1941 L5728 Battle 1 Operated by No.1 Air Gunnery School/Pembrey. Force landed on Llangennith beach after engine failure.
10/07/1941 X4988 Spitfire 1 Operated by No.53 O.C.U Sqdn/Fairwood Common.
Aircraft stalled during a practise dogfight and spun into the ground at Marcross aerodrome.
06/08/1941 X4381 Spitfire 1 Operated by No.53 O.C.U Sqdn/Fairwood Common.
dived out of cloud, lost a wing and crashed into Taran Felen Uchaf, Ton Pentre, near Pontpridd, killing the pilot. The a/c was struck off charge on 21st August and, on 30th January 1942, went to the Crash Investigation Unit at Farnborough. It subsequently became GIA 3546M at 12 SoTT Melksham before being scrapped on 14th June 1945.

ran out of fuel and belly landed at Llandow causing damage beyond repair.

dived into the Bristol Channel off Rhoose Point, 4.5 miles East of Llandow.
31/08/1941 X4474 Spitfire 1 Operated by No 53 O.T.U/R.A.F Llandow.
suffered an u/c collapse on landing at RAF Llandow. Repaired on site by 3rd September.

dived into the sea 5 miles off Porthcawl for unknown reasons.
31/08/1941 X4901 Spitfire 1 Operated by No.53 O.C.U Sqdn/R.A.F Llandow.
stalled on landing at Llandow causing the undercarriage to be torn off.
09/09/1941 K9958 Spitfire 1 Operated by No 53 O.T.U/R.A.F Llandow.
stalled on landing at Llandow causing the undercarriage to collapse.
12/09/1941 X4415 Spitfire 1 Operated by No.53 O.C.U Sqdn/Fairwood Common.
undershot on approach to RAF Llandow and hit a house, causing it to crash land. Transferred to AST at Hamble 5 days later for repair but struck off charge on 1st October 1941​.
26/09/1941 L1014 Spitfire 1 Operated by No.53 O.C.U Sqdn/Fairwood Common.
Aircraft landed on beach 1 mile west of Whitland Point Lighthouse due to low fuel. Successfully refuelled and departed the next day.

Hit a balloon cable after take off on a
night patrol from Fairwood Common. Abandoned and crashed at Skewen.
25/10/1941 Z3466 Hurricane IIB Operated by 79 Sqdn.
had an engine cut on overshoot resulting in a crash landing at Fairwood Common..
29/10/1941 X4823 Spitfire 1 Operated by No.53 OTU/R.A.F Llandow.
collided with P9459 and crashed in the sea 3 miles south of Nash Point, killing both pilots..

Aircraft flew into Pen-y-Fan Mountain in the Brecon Beacons and caught fire. The wreck was not found until the 21/07/1942.

Aircraft spun into the ground out of cloud at Caerphilly Common killing the pilot. [R.I.P]

21/11/1941 Z3393 Hurricane 1 Crashed onto Bryn Common following engine problems.
24/11/1941 AW292 Beaufort I Operated by 52 FPP.
Aircraft suffered an engine failure  in the Llandow circuit on a delivery flight, lost height, hit trees and crashed  at Fishware Farm, St.Mary's Church.
25/11/1941 AR226 "GK-E" Spitfire 1A Operated by 52 OTU/R.A.F Aston Down.
Aircraft ran out of fuel while lost, hit a hedge and overturned in a forced landing near Fairwood Common.Wreck later taken to No.78MU/R.A.F Bynea
06/12/1941 X4427 Spitfire 1 Operated by 53 OTU/R.A.F Llandow. overshot on an emergency landing at RAF Llandow. Transferred to AST at Exeter on 13th November and repaired by February 1942, returning to 53 OTU, via 38 MU, on 20th June 1942.
07/12/1941 R6969 Spitfire 1 Operated by 53 OTU/R.A.F Llandow. During some aerobatics aircraft spun into ground near Aberthaw cement works. R.I.P.
14/12/1941 AH530 Catalina Mk.1 Operated by No.209 Sqdn/R.A.F Invergorden.
Whilst landing at Pembroke Dock, aircraft hit partially submerged object and and crashed/sank. R.I.P
15/12/1941 X4940 Spitfire 1 Operated by No.53 OTU/R.A.F Llandow.
Crash landed at Wilton Farm near Llandow, Vale of Glamorgan. Damaged beyond repair
18/12/1941 P4711 Queen Bee 1 Operated by No.1 AACop.
When in use as a target Drone, aircraft lost near Llangybi,Monmouthshire.
23/12/1941 W8418 Catalina Mk.1 Operated by No.240 Sqdn/R.A.F Calshot.
Following an operational mission, the aircraft crashed and sank at R.A.F Pembroke Dock. R.I.P.

Dived into ground at Byass Road, Port Talbot after Australian Pilot became disorientated in cloud.

Crashed in forced landing near Peterson Super Ely/Vale of Glamorgan.Aircraft initially went for repair but designated Cat.5 in May 1942 R.I.P

Force landed after engine failure 1 mile from R.A.F Carew Cheriton.
