Page 1 Aircraft Incidents in Southern Wales Pre 1939
The following is a list of incidents and accidents which are known to have taken place in the South Wales region or aircraft which were on route from / to the various airfields in that region. 

I have decided to try and include this "South Wales" region as bounded as St David's in the west, the Severn Bridges in the east, Bristol Channel in the south and finally around Rhayader area in the north.

13/12/1931	G-EBYO	Avro Avian IIIA	Crashed near Wenvoe Airfield following an impromptu flying display.
06/10/1934	G-ADDK	Miles Hawk Major	Suffered loss of power on final approach at Pengam airfield and badly damaged. Later repaired..
22/07/1935	G-ACMP	Dragon II	Crashed on approach to Pengam airfield.
20/09/1936	G-ADPN	B.A. Eagle	Crashed after stalling whilst flying low over family house near Rhiwbina.
26/07/1936	G-ADDT	Scion II	Crashed after hitting telephone cables near Porthcawl.
06/06/1937	G-ACEX	DH Fox Moth	Crashed after striking a wall whilst landing near Porthcawl.
11/09/1937	G-AENG	DH Fox Moth	Crashed near Scarborough whilst participating in 1937 Kings Cup Air Race which which was due to end up in Cardiff Pengam.
07/10/1937	????	Percival Vega	Damaged whilst landing at Jersey Marine near Swansea.
03/04/1938	K9784	Hector Mk.1	Operated by No.614 Sqdn/R.A.F Pengam.Written off in landing accident at Pengam.
04/06/1938	K8109	Hector Mk.1	Operated by No.614 Sqdn/R.A.F Pengam.Written off in landing accident at Pengam.
07/09/1938	K9728	Hector Mk.1	Operated by No.614 Sqdn/R.A.F Pengam.Damaged in force landing at Oakenholt Farm/Flint.
20/09/1938	L2162	Sunderland 1	Operating from R.A.F Pembroke Dock.Written off in landing accident at Pembroke Dock.
10/09/1939	N6135	Sunderland Mk.1	Operating into R.A.F Pembroke Dockfrom Kalafrana Docks Malta, both wingtips torn off and subsequently capsised and beached
18/09/1939	L2165	Sunderland Mk.1	Operating into R.A.F Pembroke DockBecame lost after mission and ran our of fuel and crashed into sea near Milford Haven.
