Mikeyf’s trip recorded the following participants at the Battle of Britain At Home Airshow on 24th Sept 1988 – with thanks to BAR for additional notes
The airshow was severely disrupted due to atrocious weather i.e. Gales and rain whilst a few flying participants were unable to fly from Abingdon show due to debris blocking the runway. This being due to the previous days sad crash of Phantom FGR.2 XV428/CC
