On 17th September 1941 Spitfire I X4675 of 53 OTU undershot on landing at Llandow and struck an ambulance causing it to stall and the u/c to collapse.
On 17th September 1948 Tiger Moth T2 T6875 of $ SoTT crashed at St.Athan. The aircraft was practising aerobatics for the Battle of Britain Open Day but the pilot allowed it to stall at the top of a loop and it entered a flat spin, crashing before recovery could be made.
