On 6th June 1942 Beaufighter IIF T3413 of 19 MU swung on take-off from St.Athan and struck a gun post. Became 3313M.
On 6th June 1955 Vampire FB.5 VV483 of 233 OCU had a wing tip strike the ground on take-off from Pembrey causing it to skid off the runway and catch fire.
