EVENTS for 15th October

On 15th October 1941 Spitfire I K9899 of 53 OTU overshot its landing at Llandow and crashed on rough ground.

On 15th October 1942 Mosquito II DD784 of 19 MU lost its tail recovering from a dive and crashed at Pen-y-Coedcae, near Pontypridd.
