EVENTS for 29th September

On 29th September 1941 Spitfire I's N3279 and X4939 of 53 OTU collided and crashed at an unknown location.

On 29th September 1942 Spitfire Vb BM575 of 421 Sqn flew into a mountain at St.Johns Colliery, Mael Cynhordy, Maesteg.
