EVENTS for 15th April

On 15th April 1942 Lysander III V9793 of 7 AGS hit HT cables on high ground and crashed 2 miles East of Port Talbot.

Also on 15th April 1942 Blenheim IV Z6253 of 1 AGS suffered an engine cut causing it to stall and spin into the ground in an attempted forced landing at Tyle House Farm, Burrygreen, Teynoldston.

And again, on 15th April 1942 Spitfire I X4844 of 53 OTU bellylanded at Stormy Down after its engine cut. Repaired on site by Vickers and returned to 53 OTU.
