On 15th February 1941 Rapide AW115 of 8 AACU failed to gain flying speed on the wet airfield at Rhoose, stalled and crashed.
On 15th February 1941 Hurricane I P3035 of 79 Sqn hit a Chance light on overshoot at night and crashed at RAF Pembrey.
On 15th February 1943 Spitfire I X4067 and Spitfire IIA P7822 of 53 OTU collided in a turn and crashed in the sea 1 mile south of St Athan. The pilot of X4067, FO R A H Nelson was killed and the pilot of P7822, PO H A Wagner (American) injured.
On 15th February 1946 Tempest II MW794 of 247 Sqn stalled on final approach to RAF Fairwood Common, striking the ground causing the undercarriage to collapse. The accident was put down to a faulty airspeed indicator.
